Every August, during the long vacation, AEDI hosts its Annual Holiday Skill Acquisition & Vocational Training Program—a life-changing initiative designed to equip pupils and secondary school students with practical, income-generating skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

This program targets young people at a formative stage of life, giving them early exposure to vocational training that can help them become self-reliant, creative, and future-ready.

- Pupils (Primary 5–6)
- Junior & Senior Secondary School Students
- Youths from underserved and low-income communities

- 👚 Tailoring & Fashion Design
- 💻 Computer Literacy and Basic ICT
- 👞 Shoe Making
- 👜 Bag Making
- 🎸 Musical Instrument Training (Keyboard, Drums, Guitar)
- Cosmetology
- Hair and Wig Making

Each participant receives mentorship, practical tools, and an environment that fosters creativity and enterprise.

To “Catch Them Young” by building entrepreneurial capacity in children and teenagers during their most idle but formative period—the long school vacation.

We believe that early exposure to skills and mentorship is key to reducing future unemployment, boosting innovation, and preparing young people to be problem-solvers in their communities.
